Grit. Growth. Grounded Therapy.
From the farm and the rink to the clinician’s chair, I offer a down-to-earth approach to mental health for the high-performer, the hard-worker, and everyone in between. I provide a strategic space to navigate transitions, tackle anxiety, and rediscover your purpose when life feels overwhelming.
Focused Therapy for Real Progress
The Mission
To help you bridge the gap between where you’ve been and where you’re going. Inspired by Viktor Frankl, I believe there is meaning to be found in every struggle. My job is to help you build the roadmap to find it.
About Me
I grew up on a cattle farm and spent years in elite junior hockey, including 3 years with the Saskatoon Blades. I know what it’s like when your identity is challenged by change. Today, as a Certified Canadian Counsellor, I combine that lived experience with clinical expertise to offer therapy that isn’t a lecture but a strategy session for your life. Whether you’re an athlete, a farmer, a professional, or someone just trying to find your footing, I speak your language.

Core Services
Men’s Mental Health & Performance
I specialize in working with men (ages 12+) to navigate the unique pressures of modern life. Having founded The Brotherhood of Belonging, I am passionate about creating a “no-nonsense” space where men feel comfortable talking. I focus on accountability, goal-setting, and relationship difficulties, helping men build a practical toolkit for their mental well-being.
Athlete Mental Performance
Drawing on my history as a former player for the Saskatoon Blades, I understand the “dark path” that the pressures of elite sports can create. I work with athletes to manage performance anxiety, identity shifts, and the mental toll of high-level competition, helping them navigate these challenges in a healthy, sustainable way.
Rural & Agricultural Outreach
Coming from a traditional cattle farm, I know firsthand what it’s like to grow up with limited mental health resources and the stigma that can exist in rural communities. I offer relatable support for rural youth and producers who need a therapist who actually understands the lifestyle and the specific stresses of farm life.
Youth & Young Adult Support (Ages 12+)
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals aged 12 and up. Whether dealing with bullying, self-harm, or the general transition into adulthood, I meet clients where they are. My approach is rooted in equality and trust, ensuring every client, regardless of their background or identity, feels heard and respected.
Clinical Anxiety & Depression Management
Using evidence-based techniques like ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I help clients manage the weight of anxiety, depression, and much more. I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs, focusing on honesty, positivity, and clear communication to help them regain control of their lives.
Brotherhood of Belonging Initiative
The Mission
Most men carry the weight of the world in a silence that eventually becomes too heavy to bear. We created a space in Saskatoon where that silence ends and real life begins. I started this group three years ago in response to the growing mental health burden and alarming suicide rates among men in our community, recognizing the urgent need for a place where men could find connection, support, and understanding. With over 100 successful sessions already completed, this program isn’t an experiment; it is a proven catalyst for change. We have already touched the lives of over 200 men locally, seeing firsthand how isolation can be replaced by a powerful sense of brotherhood and a renewed sense of self. When you register, you aren’t just signing up for a meeting; you are claiming a permanent seat in a circle of 20 men. Because that spot is yours alone for the entire duration, you gain the rare opportunity to build the deep, unshakable trust required for true transformation.
The Experience
Every session is grounded in professional facilitation, led by real men who have been through real struggle, as well as MANY other members who have survived their own darkest chapters and come out the other side. You will engage in two hours of open, peer-led conversation where the masks come off, and the real talk begins.
Strict Standards of Safety
Zero Tolerance Policy: Alcohol and drug use are never permitted or associated with this group in any capacity. We maintain a strictly sober, focused, and respectful environment to ensure every man feels safe to be vulnerable and heard.
The Conversations
Our sessions go deep into the multifaceted reality of being a man today, touching on everything from the crushing weight of stress and burnout to the quiet battles with depression and anxiety. We explore the complexities of relationship dynamics and communication, the heavy responsibilities of fatherhood and parenting, and the search for identity and purpose that exists far beyond a paycheck. We provide space to navigate anger and emotional triggers, the ache of loneliness, the process of grief and life transitions, and the development of the raw emotional resilience needed to stay standing when life gets hard.
The Ripple Effect
The strength of a community is only as deep as the health of its men. When you choose to show up for yourself, you are inadvertently showing up for everyone who relies on you. We have witnessed this work save relationships, bridge the gap between fathers and their children, and turn struggling employees into grounded leaders. By becoming a more authentic version of yourself, you create a ripple effect of stability and presence that transforms your family, your workplace, and our city.
